Evgeny Kuzmin, Chairperson of the Intergovernmental Council for IFAP held a meeting with Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO

March 30, 2012, Paris: A meeting between Evgeny Kuzmin, Chairperson of the Intergovernmental Council for UNESCO Information for All Programme, and Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO, took place in the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.

 

During the meeting the achivements and prospects of the Information for All Programme implementation were discussed. Evgeny Kuzmin informed the Director-General that the Bureau of Intergovernmental Council in cooperation with the UNESCO Secretariat prepared a working plan of the Programme for 2012-2013. This plan includes a variety of activities and projects according to all of the priority areas of the Programme to be implemented in every region of the world.

 

The Director-General of UNESCO expressed her whole-hearted support for the Information for All Programme and for the Chairperson of the Intergovernmental Council efforts in the involvement of new countries, institutions and leading experts in the Programme activities.
